Catwalk trends may not all be suitable for the salon or spa environment, but embracing the spirit and the feel of key trends is a very real possibility. Here’s how Buttercups embraced four key trends from the Spring Collections in our latest styles.

Fairytale

The runways also featured more whimsical, romantic styles, acting as an antidote to the harder leather and animal prints that dominated many collections. These took the shape of floaty fabrics, soft prints and pastel colours. We’ve reflected this softer, more romantic trend in our new Blush collection, a soft pink that looks amazing on any skintone and acts as a softer alternative to the more clinical white. Why not really embrace the fairytale trend with our Bow Detail B215 tunic in blush, already a popular style in our collection.

The Sixties

The Sixties and Seventies were key influencers in many Spring 2019 collections, from prints to mini skirts to sharp, geometric styles. Beauty tunics are ideal shapes for the sharper Sixties trend, but we’ve added Mod-inspired black trim to our linen-look Tie-Back B212L style to bring this trend bang up to date. The black trim really gives this style some eye-catching detail, and sets off THE neutral shade of the season – beige.

Neon

One of the more daring trends this season is neon – do you dare to go this bright? While neon yellow and orange might be too in-your-face for the average spa or salon, embrace this trend with a bright fuchsia or cerise, such as our Tie-Back B212 Beauty Tunic in cerise. Set off this stunning colour with some white trousers to really make your tunic pop!

Beige

According to Elle.com, beige is big for this spring/summer – and this is good news for us therapists, as beige is the perfect neutral for a smart tunic. Even better, beige is the perfect colour for a linen-look fabric, as it gives the fabric a natural and organic feel that’s ideal in a spa setting. Our Swan-Neck B605 style features a high-cross-over neckline, modern cap sleeps and a beautiful long-line silhouette that flatters every figure.
