Terms & Conditions

Please read our terms and conditions carefully before placing your order.

ORDERING:

Orders may be made by phone, post, email or through our website. If ordering special items by phone, follow up written confirmation is also required. All orders received through our website will receive a confirmation of order. This will normally be sent by email. Please note that you must receive this confirmation before order processing begins.


PAYMENT:

We accept payment by credit/debit card. Garments will not be dispatched until FULL PAYMENT is received. Prices are subject to VAT and VAT charges.


DELIVERY TIMES:

Items in stock are dispatched within 2 days of receipt of order (excluding orders with embroidery). We send out all orders only when all items are in stock to help reduce our carbon footprint and to prevent waste from excess packaging. In-stock items are delivered within 2-3 working days in Ireland & 3-7 working days in UK & Europe. International orders are delivered within 7-10 working days. For all other stock, special or bulk orders, please allow 2-6 weeks. Please contact our office for information on stock levels. Parcels require a signature on delivery.


POSTAGE & PACKING CHARGES:

Ireland (plus VAT):

€5.95 For orders with a net value below €500 placed through the website.

€7.95 For orders with a net value over €500 placed through the website.

UK (plus VAT):

£5.95 For orders with a net value below £135 placed through the website.

£11.95 For orders with a net value between £135 and £300 placed through the website.

£17.95 For orders with a net value above £300 placed through the website.

Europe & the rest of the world:

Postage rates may differ for overseas orders or remote area deliveries and will be advised on receipt of orders. A flat rate will be applied at the checkout on the website, our customer care team will contact you if any further balance is due.


BUTTONS AND FABRIC:

Some buttons and fabric are subject to availability. If substitute buttons or fabric are used they will be of similar style and quality. Buttercups Uniforms reserve the right to amend design details and garment colours.


SCRIPT LOGO SERVICE

With the script logo service, we offer a choice from four font styles in any single colour of your choice. Should you have a particular Pantone reference we can match it as closely as possible. We can embroider your text on the wearer's left hand side of the garment unless otherwise requested or it is not possible due to the style of the garment. Costing only €6.45/£6.45/7.45USD/10.45AUD per application for most requests, this is an excellent way to add the professional look to your uniforms.


JPEG LOGO SERVICE

The JPEG logo option allows you apply your branding to your uniforms, which will leave a great impression with your clients! All you need to do is upload or send us a high-quality JPEG image of your logo, which can then be digitalised for a fee of €50/£50. We will then email you the digital form of your logo for approval. For most logos, it costs €6.45/£6.45/7.45USD/10.45AUD for the logo to be added to each garment; however, a logo with a high stitch count may cost more. Again this will be embroidered on the wearer's left hand side of the garment unless otherwise requested or not possible due to the style of the garment.


PRICES:

All prices exclude VAT, postage and packing. VAT of 23% in Ireland & 20% for UK customers. European customers will be required to pay the VAT of their country unless a valid VAT number is provided and is verified by our customer service team. Buttercups Uniforms reserve the right to amend prices without notice.


RETURNS:

Uniforms may be returned for an exchange or refund within 21 days of receipt of your order. Items that have been worn / washed / embroidered / custom made may not be returned. Please be advised that we are not responsible for return postage. For your own security, we recommend that parcels be posted using recorded delivery. We regret we are unable to accept liability for goods lost in transit back to us. Buttercups Uniforms have no association with the Customs process and cannot be responsible for parcels returned to you.

it is important to note that certain items may not be exchanged or refunded:

  1. If you return your item to us later than 21 days from receipt of your order.

  2. If your items are dirty or damaged from your personal use.

  3. If your items are custom made, embroidered or are clearance items.

College orders do not qualify for exchange or refund.

Buttercups garments are distinctive and all designs shown in this catalogue are subject to copyright and must not be copied. Buttercups Uniforms Ireland Limited will take legal action to assert ownership of copyright against any parties if it is believed that a breach of its intellectual property has taken place.
